Whole Wheat Jaggery Cake

This jaggery Cake is perfect for your tea time binge.
You can have a big slice of it, without having any guilt of cheating on your diet.
It’s super healthy
Even your kids would relish it.
Ingredients
Whole Wheat Flour – 125 gm (1 Cup)
Jaggery – 100 gm (1/2 cup)
Curd – 3 tbsp
Oil – 3 tbsp
Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp
Water – 1/2 cup (as per consistency)
Nuts – Optional
Method
• In a bowl, add curd and jaggery. Whisk it, till there are no lumps.
• Add sieved flour, baking soda in the mix.
• Add oil and water and whisk properly, till you get firm flowing consistency of batter.
• Divide nuts in two halves. In one portion of nuts, add 1 tsp flour, and coat it evenly on nuts.
• Add the coated nuts in batter and mix well. Coating the nuts, will not let them sink to the bottom.
• Pour batter in the greased tin.
•Garnish the batter with nuts.
• Bake it for 35 mins at 180 degree in pre-heated oven.
